As a fan of television reception, I'm interested in seeing other stations when we're on the road. I have a WinTV-USB and, along with a Dell laptop and a pair of rabbit ears, can monitor over-the-air reception while travelling.  The reception isn't limited to the motel; it's easy to hook it up in the car and see what I can get while the car is in motion (disclaimer: NOT while driving!). It's challenging to try and hit the 'capture' button at just the right second to catch an ID, and to get a good signal.  It's kind of like DXing from the car!
