Road Sign Photos

Here are road sign photos that I took on various trips.

Welcome to Dorchester County, Maryland. November, 1992.

While I saw almost all of them, I wish I got more of the Florida 'colorful' US route markers on film before they phased them out in the mid-1990s. Here's a pair seen near Medart, FL in November, 1992.

I found these three signs hiding near an on-ramp in Orlando, FL in January, 1997.

I was also able to find blue US90 signs on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahasee in January, 1997.

Sometimes county signs are hard to spot. Here's an example of a sign that points perpendicular to the highway. This is in southeast Texas, taken in February, 1993.

This was taken on I-20 near Longview, TX in September, 1994.

This was taken on the Texas-Oklahoma state line in May, 1996.

What you don't see here is the end of the pavement in the other direction! This was taken at the Kansas-Colorado state line, looking back into extreme southwest Kansas in May, 1996.

A rather lonely stretch of highway in Bourbon County in southeast Kansas, taken in February, 1997.

The only problem here is that one of these roads is incorrectly marked. Do you know which one? It's US55, which should be VA55. This was photographed in Front Royal, VA in May, 1997.

This road has been renamed ON416, so I doubt this sign is still standing. This was taken near Prescott, ON in May, 1997.

I saw this European-looking sign in southwest Quebec in May, 1997.
